The culture does place a greater value on re...Welp. The culture does place a greater value on recruitment of women and minorities in industry. And I think that's great as long as they aren't hired primarily because they are of a certain gender or race. <BR/>As to "better paying," factor in the higher cost of living, and that's prolly not saying much. And "more fulfilling" for a woman with "hopes and dreams," jury's still out on that one. Perhaps a more welcoming environment means fewer obstacles in the corporate world (ie better maternity leave packages) for a woman. Though that's assuming a woman's hope and dreams are to be found outside the home? Which I don't necessarily buy.<BR/><BR/>As much I love saladbowl diversity in California, I say California is "a much better place" because of THE WEATHER.
