God, keep me leaning on your grace!

I made a post this evening on SLD about what I was planning to teach at youth group tonight. Check it out!

Speaking of which, here's an update on that situation:
I only had two girls at youth group tonight, my two quietest. I could tell that they were relieved not to have the domineering ones there, and it was nice to be able to hear what was going on in their lives. And, they were excited to contemplate Jesus' life when he was a kid, which led to talking them through lots of different parts of the Bible, defining what is distinct about Christianity over against other religions, and affirming why we love and trust Jesus.

At the same time, I was hoping that I would get a chance to talk to my most difficult girl -- I don't like conversations like that, so I'd been psyching myself out about it all week. Please pray that God will soften her heart and draw her back to himself, and also that He would continue to give me a burden for loving her and ministering to her.

Sounds like you had a God-appointed time of sanity with your quiet girls. I have no doubt that you will have the right opportunity to talk to your challenging girl =) - and that it will produce fruit both in her and in yourself!
