Apocalypse, now?

This is a confession that I would only make on my blog (that whole silent/anonymous thing), so please don't mention this to me in person. I will be nearly-mortally embarrassed. Okay, here goes: I've actually had thoughts like this creep into my mind, so I'm glad it's been scientifically rebuffed.

Interviewer: What do you think about the El Nino phenomenon?
Bridget: It's a blip. Latin music's on its way out.

Huh. So there's a scientific explanation? I thought it was all George Bush's fault.

literally two days ago i turned to justin and said, "is it just me, or are there more natural disasters lately? is the world about to explode or something?"

so you aren't alone in your whacked-out thinking. but please don't mention it to me in person either ;)
