Prayer has been scientifically proven to not work.

There are many things that I could say about this article, but I will confine my remarks to this:

"The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,

but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

(1 Cor. 1:18)

And I'm not gonna stop praying. I confess that I don't understand why God commands us to pray. I'll never understand how God's sovereignty incorporates our requests into his divine plan. But I do know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves to give good gifts to those who ask, and it's a privilege to be able to approach the King of the Universe with my requests. I don't understand it, but I would be a fool to do away with it in my life.
