I wrote this yesterday while I was sitting on a plane in Denver, waiting to depart for Billings.
Arriving at the plane for your final leg of a wonderful vacation, flights that have been perfectly on schedule for the entire trip, getting on board with no lines, having a huge space in the overhead bin, having the couple in your row promoted to an exit row so you get 18 A, B & C to yourself, eating your dish of Dreyers Espresso Chip ice cream and reading an excellent book of essays that was a surprise gift from a dear friend.
Six hours ago, I was at the top of the Empire State Building. Right now, I'm about to fly over the Rocky Mountains with a sunset out my window.
Life doesn't always have to be like this to be good. But it is certainly good right now!
