ABC News reports about a young clerk who let a Tiananmen ad slip past censors.
It's still illegal to talk about the 1989 massacre, and so the Chinese authorities are understandably in a bit of an uproar about a memorial ad slipping into the classifieds.
Most interesting to me is that the clerk wasn't trying to pull a fast one. She had no idea that June 4, 1989 was a date that she shouldn't be talking about. It had been sufficiently "not talked about" in her education that she didn't think anything more of it than she would have an ad remembering June 3, or June 5.
You can try to suppress the truth in unrighteousness, but it's gonna find you out in the end. Truth (with a capital T) has a way of doing that.
