It's been so stinkin' long since I've posted anything of substance, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive and doing well, and I keep mentally composing these posts that disappear before I have access to a computer.
That's part of the problem. The other part is that I spend so much of my time on the computer for work that the last thing I want to do when I have a few spare moments is get back on the computer, either for email or blogging. Instead, I find myself drawn to reading (this summer, my reading highlights have included Around the World in Eighty Days, A Portrait of a Lady, and - currently - Under the Banner of Heaven ... very compelling stuff), working in my yard, perpetually catching up on housework, or movies (I'm currently in the middle of Dickens' Bleak House -- waiting for disc 3 to come from Netflix!). I also spend a lot of time picking raspberries and tomatoes from my parents' garden -- they go straight from the vine to my mouth!
All that to say, please check back in soon and I'll hopefully have something worth reading! If not, consider checking out some of these great books that I can recommend :)
