My body is back in the States; my mind isn't sure where it is, but it's certainly not here. I had a fantastic trip; look for some updates over at the Peacemaker blog (there's one from Ken, and I plan to write something today if my mind cooperates). I hit the ground running and am feeling overwhelmed in both positive and negative ways -- feeling the pressure of catching up after being out of the office for a week, having a crapload of stuff to do at home, but (YAY!) the basement is finished and ready to start feeling like home, and I had my socks blessed off by my church family last night. "Overwhelmed" is a humbling feeling right now in two senses: a) I'm recognizing my inadequacy and weakness, and b) I'm recognizing how little I deserve the grace and blessings that I just receive one after the other.
Well, since my brain isn't cooperating too well (I woke up at 4 a.m. and was so wide awake that I ended up doing some cleaning and putting a table together), I won't try to be coherent.
Sharon sent me this video, though, and it was a perfect way to start my morning. I'll be up at the cabin for the weekend, so it's also my token post to get you reacquainted with this ol' blog and to carry you through the weekend. Be blessed.
