GIVEAWAY: When Sinners Say I Do!

Win a free copy of When Sinners Say I Do: Discovering the Power of the Gospel for Marriage, by Dave Harvey!

My husband has been giving away copies of this book like candy ever since we read it for our pre-marital counseling and, as he says to everyone, "It completely transformed the way I think about marriage."

JR and I introduced ourselves to Dave Harvey at the Peacemaker Conference as gushing fans, and he was very humble and gracious in response. I'm not generally a gushing fan of people/celebrities, so that says a lot :)

Anyway, I think it's about time that I get in on the giving-this-book-away-like-candy action, and it seems appropriate to do so in the context of a blog series that is largely inspired by Dave Harvey's message on marriage. One, big, good-for-you piece of candy.

SO, here's the deal: leave a comment on my blog (www.brittlecrazyglass.com if you're reading this on Facebook) before the end of the day Thursday. On Friday, I will use one of the many "random number generators" that are out there on the Internet and select a winner -- make sure I have a way to contact you, and I'll get in touch to find out how to get your book to you.

Oh, and I'll be embarrassed if there are no entries, so please do join the fun :p If you already have a copy and you win, then you can join the giving away fun, too!

Too bad the prize doesn't go to the first poster. :) Thanks for your summary of Dave Harvey's talk. I enjoyed it so much that I linked to it from my Facebook status.

It's hard to remain a lurker with such a giveaway.

I came across your blog a couple of weeks ago. I forget how. But I really like it. Those descriptions of how your husband treats you- awesome. Also, that post on your observation of shy people (it's a bit old by now) - very good (I recognized it in myself- the pride, that is). So thanks for the effort you put in this blog, I am learning from it & enjoying it!

ex-lurker Anja :)

I am a friend of Melodee's and before I saw today's give-away I was actually going to to tell you how much I have appreciated your last few posts--thank you! I love reading your blog! :)

Sign Meg Radigan up for THAT, Molly...thanks for being so generous. =) I'm currently listening to "Love Talk" by Dr. & Dr. Parrott and really enjoying it. I'm definitely learning a lot...although I realize that the learning curve of marriage is ridiculously slow. =)

Since J.R. has already given me this book, if I win, I will give it away like candy. :-) What a fun competition. By the way, I found out about this awesome contest through J.R.'s twitter :-)

Should I take my chances on winning this or just ask JR for a copy?! :D

Hey Molly...I, too, have enjoyed your recent posts on marriage. Gives me some motivation to think about how my marriage is doing these days! Between kids and jobs and keeping house, sometimes my husband gets the short end of the stick.

I saw this book a while ago, but it slipped my mind until recently. I'd love to have it!
