Rest for the Weary

This CCEF video from Powlison has a couple of great gems in it, as well as being a great answer to a question I have asked of Christ's promise in Matthew 11:28-30.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Here is perhaps my biggest takeaway:
"[You are] basically saying, there is somewhere else where I'm going to find a better refuge and a better rest. 'Let me just go to the Caymens. Let me just watch TV. Let me just put down a six-pack of Miller each night.' And somehow that is going to stand for rest for your souls. And it never does. So any person who is laboring in a hard life situation, a hard struggle, a hard fight is going to go somewhere for rest. You either go to the Lord who is a refuge, who is refuge full of living water, or you turn to something that beckons and never delivers."
