Preaching to myself.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.
We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Being an ambassador of Christ is a tall order. I pray that my heart will be humble enough to keep that central in my life, rather than letting my own selfish ambitions get in the way. I think that if I lived with this in the forefront of my mind, I would be less likely to vent my anger quickly or to turn away from somebody, remembering that my actions are supposed to be representing Christ to that person.
