I read this book about 2 years ago and was blown away (I stayed up almost all night for nearly a week because I couldn't put this 1200 page tome down!), but I had difficulty processing her from a biblical worldview. There was something in it that was so appealing ... and so dark and distressing at the same time.
Amazingly enough, almost nobody out there (that I could find on the internet) addresses Ayn Rand from a biblical standpoint (which I'd say includes an examination of why she's so powerful and appealing, as well as showing where her story/philosophy ultimately breaks down). Piper's the only one who I think does it well -- glad to see that he's revisiting it!
From the conclusion of Piper's post:
This anniversary is not a time to celebrate her philosophy. That would be like celebrating a blind person’s exquisite ability to identify things by touch and then use the truth he finds to curse the idea of light. Instead, let the day be a reminder that there are pointers to Christ in every philosophy. And let us pray that we not be like the one-year-old who, when daddy points at the flower, looks at his daddy’s finger instead.

That book is one of my "sister's Fred's" (my brother in law's) favorite books in the world. (And he's quite a reader! But not yet a Believer.)
