Let the beauty of Jesus
Be seen in me
All his wonderful passion
and purity.
Savior divine,
all my nature refine
'til your beauty,
'til your beauty,
'til your beauty be seen in me.
Be seen in me
All his wonderful passion
and purity.
Savior divine,
all my nature refine
'til your beauty,
'til your beauty,
'til your beauty be seen in me.
Song by Trudy Poirier. I don't know any of the other words.

Change me O God. I cannot change myself. Even when I try I fall so short. I am full of pride, there's no place to hide. Only You can change a sinful heart like mine.
Chorus:
Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me. All His wonderful passion and purity. Savior divine, all my nature refine till Your beauty, till Your beauty, till Your beauty be seen in me.
My own righteousness is just like filty rages. Prodigal or Phairsee the same. Fig leaves that I wear, leave me naked and bare, Clothe me in the righeousness of Your dear Son.
Chorus
Do Your work in me that I may ever see all the good things You have for me. Your work has begun, it will be complete by faith I claim Your promises for me.
Chorus
Thanks, mom! You're always so on top of things :)
The line that stood out to me the most when I first heard this song was, "Prodigal or Pharisee the same." It is so easy to be complacent about Phariseeism, at least for me. . . but "My own righteousness is just like filthy rags."
