Home Sick

Not that I'm missing home; but I'm home with a bug. And 5 dogs. They're all resting comfortably, as am I.

I was at the grocery store last night buying TheraFlu, orange juice and pomegranate juice ... the clerk just kind of laughed at me and said, "Not feeling well, huh?"

One thing I've done with all my free time today (when not closing my eyes and wishing it would all go away) is finally finish signing up for Facebook. I registered for it last October, but I hadn't had the time to actually set up my profile or anything. I feel like I've sold my soul, and the scary thing is, I'm not really sure to whom or what to "they" will do with it now. I need a 15 year old to give me some lessons.

I felt the same way when I signed up for the infamous FB. And then I started finding people that I haven't talked to in like 10+ years, and suddenly it was all very cool. Long lost friends, cousins, school mates. It's actually pretty useful in the long run.

Anyway, I hope you at least got a good price for that soul of yours...

Andrea's comment is typical of those that have been brainwashed by FB.

That said, I started keeping in touch with overseas friends, college friends, and family, and suddenly it was all very cool. It's actually very useful in the long run.

And the scary part of that is I. believe. every. word. of what I just said.
